Topic 3: Our Group's Business - What will it be?

When we adjourned our discussion in class we had a social entrepreneurship focus but no consensus on a specific product of service within that domain. As I understand it our group is comprised of professionals in the following areas:

(1) Marketing and communication
(2) Software development
(3) Chip manufacturing
(4) Educational services
(5) Real estate

The more we can integrate our collective expertise into our business concept, the greater the reservoir of knowledge and experience we can draw on. I suggest we further define our business idea with that in mind.

Topic 2: Group Name

We had some ideas for our name, but rather than me filtering them, please post them as a response to this topic. I suggest that our name reinforce our business concept (Topic 3).

Topic 1: Weekly meetings

Current consensus (except Lillian) is for weekly meetings on Sundays from 4:30-5:00pm using Skype. Meetings will begin on Sunday 9/18/2011.

Lillian, please confirm that you can make Sundays at 4:30pm work for our group meetings.
